Job summary

National Vehicle Distribution is seeking an experienced Workshop Support Coordinator to help run a busy vehicle operation. You will maintain vehicle status, coordinate bookings, prepare operational reports, and support PO and goods receipt processes, ensuring accuracy and timely flow.

The role suits someone with prior Service Advisor experience in a main motor dealership and strong organisational, communication, and data skills to liaise with dealers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in coordination, service advisor, or automotive operations.
• Familiarity with vehicle booking and workshop processes.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy; able to communicate with dealers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the daily vehicle-on-site status tracker.
• Record vehicle arrivals, departures and status.
• Create and manage new vehicle bookings.
• Reschedule vehicles in response to dealer requests.
• Respond to dealer and vehicle-progress queries.
• Coordinate information between dealers and the internal operations team.
• Support purchase order processing and goods receipting.
• Prepare and issue regular operational reports.
• Maintain accurate vehicle records and ensure information is up to date.
• Support supervisors and management with operational information and reporting.
• Highlight discrepancies, delays or issues that may affect vehicle flow.
• Assist day-to-day administration to ensure smooth throughput.
