Job summary

Dexcom Ireland is seeking an Engineering Technician 2 to support equipment engineers in testing, validation, and transfer of automated manufacturing equipment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure equipment performance and compliance with specifications.

The role requires hands-on experience with pneumatics, electro/mechanical systems, PLCs, and robotics, with a focus on testing, documentation, and safety adherence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Level 6/7 qualification and 1–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents related to equipment specifications.
• Ability to write routine reports and pass downs.

Responsibilities

• Test performance of electro-mechanical assemblies using test equipment.
• Operate, test, and maintain robotic equipment and vision systems in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Analyse and record test results and prepare documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and Dexcom’s LOTO program.
