Job summary

Dexcom Corporation is seeking a Controls Technician 3 to provide hands‑on technical support for automated manufacturing equipment. The role includes testing, troubleshooting, and validating electro‑mechanical systems, PLCs and robotics in a high‑volume environment, with emphasis on safety and documentation.

Under supervision, you will assist project engineers, update manuals and drawings, and contribute to process improvements while working a 12‑hour Friday–Sunday shift pattern with a 20%

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Level 6/7 qualification and a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience.
• Experience with PLCs, pneumatic and electro/mechanical systems in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with testing, documentation and cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, checkout and troubleshooting of electro‑mechanical assemblies.
• Test performance of pneumatic and robotic systems and evaluate equipment.
• Analyze test results and prepare written documentation for reports.
• Support equipment development and equipment deployment with project engineers.
• Follow Safety and Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and maintain equipment records.
