Job summary

Dexcom, Inc. in Ireland is seeking a Controls Technician 3 to provide technical support for equipment engineers during the scale-up of manufacturing for existing or new Dexcom products.

You will work with schematics, test and troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems, pneumatics, PLCs, and robotic systems in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Level 6/7 qualification and a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience.
• Experience with PLC and Automated production/process equipment.
• Strong technical writing skills for documentation and validations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to equipment engineers for the scale-up of manufacturing.
• Assist with installation, validation and transfer of replicate automated equipment.
• Test and troubleshoot electro-mechanical assemblies and equipment.
• Analyze test results and maintain equipment documentation.
• Follow safety protocols including LOTO and contribute to continuous improvement.
