Job summary
Dexcom Ireland seeks an experienced Engineering Technician 3 for front end night shift support in the manufacturing scale-up of Dexcom products. You will assist equipment engineers with testing, installation, validation, and transfer of automated equipment, while coordinating with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
You will work from schematics, perform testing and fault isolation on automated systems, and ensure compliance with safety and LOTO programs.
Qualifications
- Level 6/7 qualification in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of related experience.
- Ability to read, analyse, and interpret technical documents.
- Experience with PLC and automated production equipment.
- Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and electro/mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to equipment engineers for improve/install/validate automate equipment.
- Test performance of electro-mechanical assemblies and robotic systems.
- Operate, test, and maintain robotic equipment and vision systems.
- Analyse and record test results and prepare documentation.
- Follow safety and LOTO procedures and update equipment documentation.
