Job summary

Dexcom is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 3 to support equipment engineers in scaling up manufacturing for Dexcom products. You will test and troubleshoot electro‑mechanical assemblies, operate robotic equipment and assist with deployment of new equipment with cross‑functional teams.

The role requires a Level 6/7 qualification and 4–6 years of related experience, plus strong ability to read technical documents and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Level 6/7 qualification and 4–6 years of related experience.
• Ability to read, analyse, and interpret common scientific and technical documents related to equipment specifications.
• Knowledge of PLC and Automated production/process equipment is essential; experience with Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electro/Mechanical systems and Automated Packaging Equipment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Test performance of electro‑mechanical assemblies using test equipment.
• Operate, test, or maintain robotic equipment and vision systems.
• Analyse and record test results and prepare documentation.
• Perform operational testing and fault isolation on automated systems and equipment.
• Support equipment development work under supervision of the project engineer.
