Job summary

Celestica Galway in Ireland is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Technician to provide factory systems support in a highly automated production environment. You will implement continuous improvement solutions to maximize equipment efficiency and robustness, aligning with Celestica's high‑reliability standards and regulatory requirements.

This role follows a shift pattern (8am–8pm) on Thursdays through Saturdays and every second Sunday, and it involves troubleshooting high‑speed assembly machines,

Qualifications

• Competent PLC programmer.
• Demonstrate knowledge of electrical systems including Power, AC/DC circuits.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot high speed automated assembly machines.
• Sustain machine PLC programs.
• Troubleshoot and replace faulty electrical components.
• Calibration and maintenance of robots.
• Installation, configuration maintenance of bar code scanning equipment.
• Ensure full product tracking data captured at various process points.
• Provides Final Third Level support on all technical issues.
• Contribute to efficiency improvement projects through code upgrades.
• Provide technical support to multiple lines and record issue resolutions in central database.
• Work proactively to ensure performance targets are met.
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer networks, including LANs, WANs, and intranets.
