Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking a Dealmaker in Ireland to negotiate and close high-frequency inventory deals for dealer partners. You will monitor unsold auctions, leverage market data, and collaborate with internal teams to maximize fees and revenue.

The role demands 3+ years in automotive sales/deal making, strong negotiation and market analysis skills, and proficiency with Salesforce and ACV Marketplace. Flexible shifts include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
• 3 years’ sales/deal making experience in automotive industry.
• Ability to meet and exceed daily/weekly/monthly quotas.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex deals.
• Deep understanding of the automotive market.
• Strong ability to analyze market data and financial reports.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Identify issues and develop solutions.
• Self-starter, works independently and in teams.
• Resilience under pressure.
• CRM navigation: Salesforce, ACV Marketplace, AI scoring, dealer profiles, G.O.A.T.
• Available for variable shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Monitor unsold auction opportunities to lead negotiations between buyers and sellers and retain fees.
• Evaluate opportunities using industry knowledge to set sales strategy.
• Use CRM tools (Salesforce, ACV Marketplace, AI scoring, dealer profiles, G.O.A.T.) to inform decisions in a short sales cycle.
• Drive sales via text, phone, email and Slack in a fast-paced environment.
• Determine accurate fees for each transaction to price fairly and profitably.
• Navigate multiple phone systems (800#, RingCentral, Contact Center).
• Coordinate with outside sales, buyer reps, titles, and internal teams to close deals.
• Meet or exceed sales goals and KPIs.
• Document activities and strategies in Salesforce.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
