Job summary

DoneDeal Cars, part of Distilled, is seeking a Head of Automotive Content and Communications to lead media strategy across Ireland. You’ll be the voice of the brand in radio, TV, podcasts, and online video, shaping the national automotive conversation and translating data into compelling headlines.

You’ll create high-engagement formats for video, social and LinkedIn, while working with journalists and partners to drive measurable impact, at pace and with autonomy.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of landing stories and securing coverage.
• Excellent writing and editing with clear, honest language.
• Ability to translate complex topics into consumer-friendly content.
• Comfort presenting on radio, TV, podcasts, and video.

Responsibilities

• Be the face and voice of DoneDeal Cars in media and at events.
• Shape the national automotive conversation through thought leadership and press releases.
• Turn data into headlines with the data team to create compelling stories.
• Pitch stories and secure appearances across national and regional media.
• Explain finance, emissions, and running costs in plain language for buyers.
