Job summary

Darwin Hawkins recruiting a Dublin-based Audit Director with a clear path to Partner. Hybrid Dublin location, exposure to consumer, retail and hospitality clients, and involvement in large group audits.

You will work closely with an Audit Partner, lead senior audit engagements, develop client relationships, mentor teams and help win new business as the practice grows. This is a high-visibility role with substantial progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with significant external audit experience.
• Current Audit Director or Senior Manager with 2-3+ years at Senior Manager level.
• Experience across consumer, retail, hospitality, technology, life sciences, manufacturing or distribution.
• Group audit experience would be beneficial.
• Business development experience would be advantageous.
• Ambitious with a strong desire to progress towards Partner.

Responsibilities

• Client Leadership - Manage and develop relationships across a varied portfolio of audit clients.
• Audit Delivery - Lead the delivery of high-quality audit engagements across the Consumer Business portfolio.
• Group Audits - Take responsibility for complex and group audit engagements where appropriate.
• Team Leadership - Lead, mentor and develop audit teams while supporting the continued growth of the wider practice.
• Business Development - Contribute to winning new engagements and expanding relationships with existing clients.
• Practice Growth - Support the continued development of the firm's offering across consumer, retail and hospitality.
• Partner Progression - Work closely with senior leadership with a clear view towards progressing to Partner.
