Darwin Hawkins is seeking an Audit Director for a Dublin-based hybrid role within a leading professional services firm. You will work with an Audit Partner, taking a senior role across large corporate and multinational clients.

The role involves leading complex audits, developing senior client relationships, mentoring audit teams and contributing to business development to grow the Corporate Audit practice.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with significant external audit experience.
• Experience as Audit Director or Senior Manager in a large firm.
• Strong history auditing large corporate and multinational clients.

Our client is a large and well-regarded professional services firm in Dublin with a substantial and growing Audit practice. The firm works with a strong portfolio of large corporate and multinational clients across a range of sectors.

• Experience managing complex and group audit engagements
• Strong client management skills with experience dealing with senior stakeholders
• Business development experience would be advantageous

Role and Reporting Lines

Working closely with an Audit Partner, you will take a senior leadership position within the Corporate Audit practice. Responsibilities will include:

• Client Leadership – Manage and develop senior relationships across a portfolio of large corporate and multinational clients
• Audit Delivery – Lead the delivery of complex audit engagements across the Corporate Audit portfolio
• Group Audits – Take responsibility for large and complex group audit engagements
• Senior Stakeholders – Work closely with senior finance leadership and key decision-makers across client organisations
• Team Leadership – Lead, mentor and develop audit teams across multiple engagements
• Business Development – Contribute to winning new engagements and developing opportunities with existing clients
• Practice Growth – Work alongside Partners and senior leadership to support the continued development of the Corporate Audit practice
• Leadership – Play an active role in the wider leadership and strategic development of the Audit team
