Job summary

GPC Finance is seeking an ambitious Associate Director to lead our Audit & Accounts team in North Dublin. This role involves managing a diverse client portfolio while mentoring a talented team and collaborating closely with the Board of Directors.

Job description

Our client is looking for an ambitious Associate Director to lead our Audit & Accounts team in North Dublin. In this key leadership role as Associate Director, you’ll manage a diverse client portfolio while guiding a talented team and working closely with the Board of Directors. With a clear path to Directorship, this Associate Director position offers strategic involvement in the firm’s growth and long‑term career progression.

Responsibilities
  • Mentor and manage the Audit & Accounts team, drive performance reviews, training, and uphold a culture of accountability and ethics.
  • Serve as the primary contact for a diverse portfolio, build long-term relationships, deliver tailored solutions, and cross-sell services.
  • Oversee audits, financial statements, and tax filings, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, FRS 102, IFRS, and ISAs while maintaining advanced technical knowledge.
  • Collaborate with Directors on strategic goals, lead business development initiatives, monitor commercial outcomes, and champion digital innovation for efficiency and client success.
Requirements
  • Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience across audit, accounts, and client portfolio management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and oversee complex audit engagements.
