Job summary

Origon is seeking an ambitious Audit Director in Ireland to advance toward Partner level. The role requires strong SME/Private business sector expertise, and proven leadership in audit engagements.

The candidate should hold ICAI or ACCA qualification with at least 12 years in assurance, and be adept at client relationship building, coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations across diverse industries.

Qualifications

• Professional ICAI or ACCA qualification with a minimum of 12 years’ experience in assurance.
• Strong SME/Private business sector expertise.
• Proven senior manager/director level experience in audit.
• Excellent communication and commercial skills.
• Ability to coach, train, mentor and evaluate performance.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with external clients and internal departments.
• Coach, train, mentor, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Lead audit engagements with knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS.

They are now looking to hire an ambitious Audit Director into their business who has ambitions to develop their career to Partner level. Ideally this candidate will already be at a Director level over the past 2-5 years in another firm, with strong SME/Private business sector expertise. Details of the role include the following:

• Proven experience at senior manager/director level in audit
• Ability to build relationship building both with external clients and internal departments
• Experience in coaching, training/mentoring, and performance evaluations
• Technical expertise, with strong knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS
• Experience of auditing clients within a variety of industries/sectors
• Experience of auditing and accounting platforms, accounting systems and willingness to learn

Interested candidates should hold a professional ICAI or ACCA qualification with a minimum of 12 years’ experience in assurance. Clear communications skills and a high level of commercial skills are required.
