Job summary

Faithlegg seeks an Assistant Bar Manager to lead daily bar operations alongside the Bar Manager and F&B team in a guest-focused setting. You will ensure service standards remain high, supervise setup and stock control, and train staff to comply with licensing and regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates will have a strong F&B background with 2+ years in a similar role in a luxury environment, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a similar bar/FOH leadership role in a luxury/hospitality setting.
• Strong food and beverage background with focus on guest service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Must be flexible, reliable and enthusiastic.
• Ability to manage margins, revenue and labour targets.
• Demonstrated initiative and teamwork to drive standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bar Manager in day-to-day operations of bar areas including F&B service.
• Ensure areas are prepared and set-up before and after service.
• Respond to business requirements and train staff to standards.
• Assist in stock control management.
• Comply with licensing and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure cash handling procedures and returns are correct.

The role:

Working with the Bar Manager and Food and Beverage Team be responsible for the day to day running of the bar areas including food and beverage service while ensuring a professional, friendly and courteous service to all guests. The Assistant Bar Manager will:

• Ensure the all areas are properly prepared and set-up prior to and after service;
• Respond appropriately to the requirement of the business;
• Train to ensure compliance to standards at all levels within the team;
• Assist in stock control management;
• Compliance with all licensing, legal and regulatory requirements;
• Ensuring appropriate returns and cash handling procedures are adhered to.
