Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking an Assistant Bar Manager to help lead the Bar department and drive the strategy for exceptional guest service. Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, you will mentor staff, set team targets, and support events across the hotel to ensure excellence in service.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, budget accountability, and a focus on customers. Dalata offers development programmes and opportunities to grow within our expanding portfolio of properties.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Food & Beverage management role in a leading hotel.
• Experience in large conferences and events is a distinct advantage.
• Excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Bar Manager in leading the Bar department and execute the strategy to achieve goals.
• Assist the Bar Manager with recruiting, retaining and developing employees.
• Set targets for the Bar team in line with the overall departmental and hotel strategy.
• Support/oversee events in the hotel to ensure excellence in service at all times.
• Manage the budget and cost-effectiveness of the department.

Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, the Bar Manager will lead the operational & financial success of the Bar function.
