Job summary

Faithlegg is seeking a proactive hospitality professional to join our award‑winning team. You will tend to guests promptly, welcome and seat them, and ensure a warm, memorable dining experience that encourages repeat business.

With at least 2 years’ experience in a busy service environment, you will be well groomed and confident, delivering professional guest service, and communicating effectively with guests and colleagues while supporting team training and revenue objectives.

We are seeking a candidate who will work with the committed team in a proactive and enthusiastic manner, who is self-motivated, flexible, able to work on their own initiative, assist in leading an award winning team and deliver the agreed goals.

The role

• To tend to guests promptly and professionally, ensuring they are welcomed and seated in a courteous and timely manner. To ensure all guests receive a positive and memorable dining experience to encourage repeat business.
• To promote sales and to actively engage with guests and to encourage restaurant reservations.
• To operate the point of sale and property management systems, ensuring that billing and returns procedures are adhered to.
• To assist the restaurant manager in hiring and training of all team members;
• To ensure that a high quality of service is maintained at all times and that service runs efficiently on a consistent basis
• To assist in creating and achieving team targets in line with the Company's goals and objectives
• To ensure that the restaurant operates within budget as set out by senior management

The ideal candidate for this position

A minimum of 2 years' experience in a busy service environment;

• Outstanding ability delivering professional guest service;
• Well groomed and take pride in their appearance;
• Be confident and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and team members;
• Will have Exceptional Guest Care and excellent communication skills with the ambition to drive standards and performance in a busy environment;
• A passion for food presentation and service, and superb attention to detail while adhering to revenue, cost and margins.
