Sligo Park Hotel is seeking a bar and restaurant team member to ensure smooth operation of the department during duty periods. The role requires 18+ and flexibility for weekdays and weekends, with a focus on customer satisfaction and professional handling of complaints.

The ideal candidate will maintain high personal hygiene, wear the correct uniform, and participate in ongoing in-house training, while supporting other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
• Minimum hospitality experience suitable for a bar/restaurant team environment.

To ensure the bar & restaurant department runs smoothly while on duty.

Must be over 18 years of age

Must be able to work both weekdays and weekends

To ensure continuous on the job training is scheduled and carried out and signed off with all members of the bar & restaurant team.

To strive for customer satisfaction at all times while on duty.

To handle customer complaints in a professional manner and according to hotel procedure.

To deal with staff issues and complaints when required.

To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming at all times.

To wear correct uniform and name badge at all times while on duty.

To be present and punctual for all in house training programmes.

To abide by the hotels health, safety and environmental procedures and practices.

To report any health, safety or environmental hazards within the hotel.

To ensure all members of the bar & restaurant team adhere to health, safety and environmental procedures and practices.

To maintain a positive, friendly attitude with both hotel guests and your colleagues.

To participate in all relevant internal training.

Option of serving on committees within the Hotel.

To assist in other departments if necessary.
