Job summary

Finsa Ireland seeks a Technical Specifications Consultant to drive early-stage product specifications with architects, interior designers and developers. You will influence material selection, deliver CPD sessions, and support project teams from concept through to completion.

Role requires strong relationship-building, presentation skills and fluency in English, with Spanish preferred. A full driving licence and willingness to travel across Ireland are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related discipline.
• Strong affinity with architecture, interior design, materials and aesthetics.
• Keen eye for design, colour, materials.
• Ability to translate architects' and designers' needs into product solutions.
• Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
• Strong presentation, communication and influencing skills.
• Commercial mindset with a consultative and customer-focused approach.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
• Professional fluency in English; Spanish strongly preferred.
• CRM systems and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel within Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Promote Finsa’s portfolio to architects, interior designers, specifiers, contractors and developers.
• Identify early-stage professionals to influence product selection and secure specifications.
• Track projects from concept to completion and convert specifications into opportunities.
• Maintain and develop a strong project pipeline with architectural and construction communities.
• Advise on material selection, product performance and application possibilities.
• Support designers with 3D visualisations and product applications.
• Prepare product specifications, data sheets and technical documents.
• Deliver CPD presentations, workshops and product training.
• Provide information on applicable standards and product requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Technical and Marketing for consistent customer experience.
• Build relationships with architects, designers, specifiers and other professionals.
• Identify new market opportunities and leads.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activity.
• Support conversion of specs into sales opportunities.
• Organise events and initiatives to raise visibility.
