Job summary

Design Build Search is seeking a Technical Designer for our Dublin HQ. The role focuses on Revit-driven design delivery for refurb/fit-out projects, with travel to sites and client meetings across multiple counties.

You will lead production of construction documents, coordinate with consultants, and mentor junior designers throughout all project phases. The ideal candidate has extensive Revit experience, BIM Level 2 knowledge, and strong communication skills to manage stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• 10 years of experience in interior design.
• Experience in architecture or design with a focus on workplace technical design.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit with BIM up to Level 2.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proactive attitude with mentoring and collaboration.
• Accreditation in LEED, NCARB, NCIDQ

Responsibilities

• Organize design deliverables, lead the production of detailed construction documents, and coordinate with consultants and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Prepare comprehensive design documentation including drawing, technical details and schedules using Revit, delivering construction-ready outputs with precision and accuracy
• Involved in all project's phases from start of project to handover
• Responsible for managing materials and coordination on projects
• Weekly reviews and meetings with supplies and sub-contractors >
• Provide technical advice and ensure the accuracy of information delivered to construction teams.
• Leading the sequencing of design information into clear, comprehensive packages.
• Providing mentorship and leadership to junior designers in the production of construction documents

Design Build Search are working with a global interior and fit-out company. Due to growth in Ireland, they have an opportunity for a Technical Designer. This position would be ideal for someone with extensive Revit experience and refurb/fit-out project experience. This position is based in our clients Dublin HQ. However, travel to sites for progress meetings, client visit will be required. Project locations in different counties.

Projects:

Minimum:

• Degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• 10 years of experience in interior design
• Previous experience in architecture or design, with a focus on workplace technical design.
• Demonstrated expertise in commercial interior design projects.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and advanced knowledge of BIM up to Level 2.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive attitude, emotional intelligence, and enthusiasm for mentoring and collaboration.
• Accreditation in LEED, NCARB, NCIDQ
