Job summary

Joe Duffy Leasing in Ireland is seeking an Apprentice Service Advisor for a 6 to 12 month earn-while-you-learn programme that develops you in our aftersales operations. You will join a motivated, customer-focused team and begin by learning day-to-day administration and the communications hub of our leasing service.

No prior motor industry experience is required; training is provided. The role covers customer relations, workshop coordination, service bookings, and maintaining accurate records,

Qualifications

• A full and clean Irish or EU driving licence.
• Valid and full-time eligibility/visa to work in the EU.
• Background in retail, hospitality, telesales, or customer service is valued.
• Impeccable presentation, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to keep organised records.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for leasing clients regarding servicing and repairs.
• Coordinate information flow between workshop, leasing department and customers.

Joe Duffy Leasing is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Apprentice Service Advisor to join our team. This "earn-while-you-learn" programme offers a comprehensive, structured 6 to12 month training scheme tailored to your needs paving the way for a highly successful, long-term career in aftersales operations.

Key Responsibilities

As an Apprentice Service Advisor, you will learn to manage the day-to-day administration and communication hub of our leasing aftersales operations:

• Customer Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for leasing clients regarding vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair queries via telephone and e mail.
• Operations Coordination: Manage the flow of real-time information between the workshop, the leasing department, and the end customer to deliver a seamless service.
• Service Diagnosis & Bookings: Qualify service requirements, understand basic vehicle issue descriptions and arrange service bookings.
• Administrative Accuracy: Maintain precise customer records and update database systems.
• Vehicle Handover: Coordinate and administer customer service vehicles (courtesy cars) and explain complete service sheets or health checks clearly to clients.

What We Are Looking For

You do not need previous motor industry experience and you will be provided with training.

• Essential: A full and clean Irish or EU driving licence (covering manual vehicles).
• Essential: Valid and full-time eligibility/VISA to work in the EU.
• Skills: Prior background in retail, hospitality, telesales, or customer service environments is highly valued.
• Traits: Impeccable presentation suitable for a corporate environment, alongside excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
