Cohesity is seeking a motivated Physical Security Application Engineer to support the day-to-day operation, deployment, and continuous improvement of our security technology ecosystem. You will troubleshoot, install, test, audit, and support end-user needs across access control, CCTV, and visitor management with regional vendors.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in physical security tech, hands-on experience with leading platforms, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in physical security technology, security operations, or IT support.
• Hands-on experience with access control, CCTV/video management, visitor management or similar systems.
• Familiarity with Genetec, Avigilon, Avigilon Alta, Alert Media, or Envoy is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, devices, and end-user workflows.
• Ability to analyze data from reports, tickets, and audits to drive improvements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with vendors, GSOC, and cross-functional teams.

Mansioni

• Triage, investigate, and resolve physical security application issues across access control, CCTV/video management, visitor management, and related end-user support requests.
• Support new site deployments, system expansions, device additions, and application configuration with internal teams and regional vendors.
• Perform QA, system testing, commissioning, validation, and post-deployment checks to ensure solutions operate as designed.
• Maintain accurate system data, device records, floorplans, documentation, and audit outputs for compliance and readiness.
• Monitor, prioritize, and manage tickets; escalate complex issues and keep stakeholders informed through resolution.
• Coordinate with regional vendors for service scheduling, deliverables, and follow-up on open items.
• Use data, alerts, audits, and metrics to identify trends and recommend practical improvements.
• Provide technical support to physical security and GSOC for usage, issues, and workflows.
• Create and maintain user guides, provide basic training, and help teams adopt tools effectively.
• Document configurations, troubleshooting steps, deployments, test results, audit findings, and status updates clearly.
• Manage work independently, drive issues to closure, and communicate risks and next steps.
• Occasional travel to Cohesity offices for deployments, audits, or training.
