Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a seasoned Physical Security Application Engineer to support, deploy, and continuously improve our security technology ecosystem. You will troubleshoot, install, test, and audit access control, CCTV, and visitor management systems while coordinating with regional vendors and GSOC to ensure reliable operations.

The role requires strong hands-on expertise, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in physical security technology, technical support, security operations, IT support, systems deployment, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with access control, video management, visitor management, or similar physical security platforms; Genetec, Avigilon, or Envoy experience is a plus.
• Troubleshooting skills across applications, devices, user access, tickets, and operational workflows.
• Knowledge of installation support, testing, commissioning, audits, documentation, or data management for security systems.

Responsibilities

• Triage, investigate, and resolve physical security application issues across access control, CCTV/video management, visitor management, and related end-user support requests.
• Support new site deployments, system expansions, device additions, and application configuration with cross-functional teams.
• Perform quality assurance, system testing, commissioning support, validation, and post-deployment checks.
