Job summary

The Hodson Bay Hotel in Athlone, Ireland is seeking an Accommodation Assistant to ensure guest comfort through high standards of cleanliness and service. You will work as part of the Accommodation Team, maintain guest rooms and public areas, and respond to guest requests promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel cleaning/housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Enjoy working as part of a team.
• Always maintain a professional image through appearance.
• Must be energetic, customer focused and should possess excellent communication skills.
• Should also have the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• To have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all standards of performance and delivery within the accommodation department
• To participate in Departmental training
• To work as part of the Accommodation Team
• Cleaning of guest bedrooms and bathrooms to an excellent standards
• Cleaning of public areas to an excellent standard
• Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks
• Restock and maintain trolley on daily basis
• Manage all guest requests in a timely and efficient manner
• Making sure that all checklists are completed to an excellent standard

As Accommodation Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our guests by maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness throughout our hotel.
