Job summary

The Slieve Russell Hotel and Country Club in Cranaghan, Co. Cavan, is seeking an experienced cleaner for an on-site role with midweek and weekend shifts (0930–1530), up to five days weekly. You will uphold high cleanliness standards in bedrooms and public areas while providing excellent guest service.

Full training is provided; competitive benefits include meals, gym access, pension, and career progression including QQI Level 6 qualifications.

Qualifications

• Excellent presentation and customer service skills are required.
• Strong command of English is essential.
• Experience in cleaning is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all services follow department procedures.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in bedrooms, bathrooms, and all areas including corridors and stores.
• Report maintenance faults to Accommodation Management Team.
• Have knowledge of all accommodation services and hotel facilities and opening hours.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards in your area of work.
• Be familiar with all products used and department facilities and hours.
• Attend all training courses as notified by management.

Are you an experienced cleaner with a great attitude hoping to further your career in hospitality or are you seeking to start a rewarding career with a great employer? If so, then we want to hear from you!

The hours of work for this role are generally: 0930 to 1530. This role will cover both midweek and weekend days up to 5 days per week. This role will unfortunately not suit a student at this time as it will require midweek and weekend shifts during term times.

What are we looking for?

• Excellent presentation,
• Exceptional Customer service and communication skills,
• Good command of the English Language
• Experience in a cleaning role would be a distinct advantage.

Main Responsibilities:

• To ensure that all service provided by you is in accordance with your department procedures
• To ensure that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in bedrooms and bathrooms and areas of work throughout the hotel, including corridors, fire exits /stores.
• To report all maintenance faults to the Accommodation Management Team
• To have a full knowledge of all Accommodation services and a general knowledge of all hotel facilities and opening hours
• To ensure that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in your area of work.
• To have a full knowledge of all products in the department and a general knowledge of all hotel facilities and opening hours.
• Attend all training courses as notified to you by management
