SUPERVISOR QUALITY ASSURANCE & CONTROL (PLASTIC INJECTION)
Job summary
A leading plastic injection manufacturing company in Cikarang, Indonesia, is seeking a Supervisor for Quality Assurance & Control. The successful candidate will conduct inspections, monitor product quality, and ensure compliance with quality standards including ISO 9001. Key responsibilities include documentation, defect inspections, and collaboration with production teams. Candidates must have experience as a Quality Assurance Supervisor and knowledge of quality control processes. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to quality improvement initiatives and ensure high standards in manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Quality Assurance Supervisor.
- Sound understanding of ISO 9001 requirements.
- Years of experience in auditing processes.
Responsibilities
- Make limit samples and perform verification.
- Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections.
- Monitor product quality during production runs.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Conduct visual inspections for defects.
- Maintain inspection records and generate reports.
- Assist with non-conformance investigations.
- Support action implementations for quality improvements.
- Collaborate with teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards.
Skills
Making limit sample, verification with judgment member, skill matrix mapping
Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections per quality standards and inspection plans.
Monitor and document product quality during production runs.
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and control plans.
Conduct visual inspections for defects such as flash, short shots, warping, and discoloration.
Maintain detailed inspection records and generate quality reports.
Assist with non-conformance investigations and root cause analysis (RCA).
Support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) implementation.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 (if applicable), and customer-specific requirements.
Perform audits of manufacturing processes and maintain quality documentation.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and 5S programs.
