Job summary

PT Waagner Biro Indonesia (WBI) is seeking a Workshop Facility Engineer to lead the design, construction, and maintenance of our workshop. You will collaborate with engineering teams and contractors to ensure projects meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has a civil/structural background, 4+ years in design or workshop roles, and experience with static and dynamic calculations. English and Bahasa Indonesia proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering.
• National or international professional certification.
• Minimum 4 years as Workshop Facility at a design company, consultant, or building contractor.
• Experience in building civil design with static and dynamic calculation software.
• Familiar with design of buildings/factories and relevant standards.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct, and maintain the Workshop facilities.
• Ensure structural integrity, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage projects from start to finish with engineers and contractors.
• Apply civil/structural engineering principles to deliver on time.

Job description

Responsible for the design, construction, and maintenance of the Workshop. This includes ensuring structural integrity, safety, and compliance with regulations, as well as managing projects from start to finish. They work with engineering and contractors and utilize their expertise in civil engineering principles and technologies to deliver projects on time.

Requirements :

Education

Minimum graduated from University or Academy Technical/ Civil/ Mechanical/ Structure Bachelor Degree.

Posses a Certificate of National or International Certificate Degree of Technical/ Civil/ Structure/ Mechanical Engineer Certificate.

Experience

Minimum 4 (four) years experience as Workshop Facility at a Design Company, Consultant or Building Contractor.

Have experience of design Building Civil Engineer with static and dynamic calculation software

Familiar with design of building manufacturing / factory

Understand relevant National and International Standards and Code relating to steel structural design.

Language

Written and spoke with English and Bahasa Indonesia

Computer Literate

Familiar using Civil Engineer software
