Job summary

TTW in Jakarta is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to contribute to urban design, infrastructure and development projects across Indonesia. You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

The role requires a bachelor’s in civil or structural engineering, 5–8+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency in structural analysis software. TTW offers a supportive environment and opportunities to grow within a national team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5–8+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering, preferably within an engineering consultancy.
• Proven experience in the structural design and delivery of high-rise buildings, warehouses, industrial facilities, data centres, and other building developments.
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles and Indonesian (SNI) and/or international standards.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, SPACE GASS, RAM Structural System, and/or RAPT.
• Experience in reinforced concrete and steel structural design; timber design experience is an advantage.
• Professional certification or membership with HAKI or an equivalent professional institution is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and delivery of projects including high-rise buildings, warehouses, industrial facilities, data centres, and other building developments.
• Prepare structural analysis, calculations, technical reports, specifications, and design documentation in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
• Review and check engineering calculations, drawings, and documentation prepared by junior engineers and drafters.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers while ensuring high-quality project delivery.
• Prepare technical submissions and other project-related deliverables as required.
• Support construction activities by responding to RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, assessing design changes, and conducting site inspections when required.
• Apply a deep understanding of engineering principles to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems.

In this role, you will contribute to a variety of urban design, infrastructure and development projects across Indonesia. Working within a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions while mentoring team members and building strong client relationships.

In this role, you will :

Structural Engineering

• Lead the structural design and delivery of projects including high-rise buildings, warehouses, industrial facilities, data centres, and other building developments.
• Prepare structural analysis, calculations, technical reports, specifications, and design documentation in accordance with applicable codes and standards.

Project Delivery

• Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, and priorities to meet client expectations and project deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, design standards, quality management systems, and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to the successful delivery and commercial performance of projects.

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5–8+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering, preferably within an engineering consultancy.
