Job summary

Smoore Technology Indonesia seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to manage daily warehouse operations, ensure accurate inventory, and support production schedules at a fast-growing electronics manufacturing site.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years’ experience, strong leadership, English fluency, and hands-on SAP/WMS knowledge, plus Bonded Zone and GWP familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM, logistics, industrial engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Warehouse Supervisor in electronics/EMS.
• Proficient in SAP and WMS with hands-on usage for inventory control.
• Solid knowledge of Bonded Zone (Kawasan Berikat) operations and customs docs.
• Deep understanding of GWP standards and warehouse safety practices.
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking and clear English communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations: receipt, storage, kitting, and dispatch for global export.
• Ensure Bonded Zone compliance and accurate inbound/outbound documentation.
• Utilize SAP and WMS for real-time inventory tracking and cycle counts.
• Implement GWP standards, 5S, safety, and secure warehouse practices.
• Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff and forklift operators.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Daily Warehouse Operations: Oversee and manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including raw material receiving, inventory storage, kitting for production lines, and finished goods dispatching for global export.
• Bonded Zone Compliance: Supervise all inbound and outbound logistics documentation and material handling to ensure strict compliance with Indonesian Customs regulations for Bonded Zones (Kawasan Berikat), including coordination for IT Inventory linkage.
• System & Inventory Management: Utilize SAP and WMS (Warehouse Management System) to ensure real-time inventory tracking, accurate data entry, and maintain optimal stock accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock-taking.
• Good Warehouse Practice (GWP): Implement and enforce Good Warehouse Practice (GWP) standards, 5S layout optimization, and safety regulations to ensure a clean, organized, and secure electronic manufacturing warehouse environment.
• Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse staff, material handlers, and forklift operators, optimizing manpower allocation to meet production schedules and delivery deadlines.
• Performance & Problem Solving: Monitor warehouse KPIs, proactively identify operational bottlenecks, resolve inventory discrepancies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency.

Job Requirements (岗位要求)

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience in a similar role as a Warehouse Supervisor
• or above, preferably within the Electronics Manufacturing or EMS industry.
• System Expertise: Highly proficient and hands-on experience in using SAP and advanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Bonded Zone Knowledge: solid and practical experience working in a Bonded Zone (Kawasan Berikat) manufacturing plant; well-versed with customs documentation and material flow requirements.
• GWP Standards: Deep understanding and practical expertise in Good Warehouse Practice (GWP), warehouse safety standards, and inventory control techniques.
• Soft Skills & Language: Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and quick decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with professional fluency in English (both verbal and written) to collaborate with multinational management.
