Job summary

Nestlé Indonesia invites applications for an Operations Shift Manager at the Karawang Factory. You will lead a line team to achieve production objectives, empower personnel, and ensure safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets are met in line with NGMP standards.

The role requires 3–5 years in a food-industry function and a Bachelor in Food Technology or Engineering, with proven ability to manage and motivate people and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Food Technology or Engineering is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in a functional role in the food industry.
• Experience in managing and engaging / motivating people.
• Ability to enforce safety and quality standards on the line.
• Strong collaboration with line shift teams and stakeholders.

• Lead the Safety Culture and conditions for a Safe Working Environment. Check and enforce personnel hygiene & safety procedures
• Ensure that Semi Finish Good and Finished Goods are consistently manufactured according to standards of quality and relevant manufacturing instructions (compliance).
• Ensure that the working areas are kept clean and are maintained in working order including all installations in accordance to Nestlé Good Manufacturing Practices (NGMP)
• Manage Production effectively through operational reviews and use Standard Routines to ensure sustainable results.
• Organizing & delegating assignments to the team members, assessing and evaluating the work performance of the teams
• Ensure constant dialogue with relevant stakeholders (line shift teams, Production Manager, Maintenance, Unions, functional representatives on the line).
