Job summary

Nestlé Indonesia invites applications for an Operations Shift Manager at the Karawang Factory. You will be responsible for delivering line objectives by empowering people to develop their capability and ensuring on-time production in line with safety, quality, cost, delivery and environmental requirements.

You will lead safety culture, enforce hygiene & safety procedures, ensure NGMP-compliant operations, manage production through reviews, organize staff assignments, and maintain open dialogue

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or Engineering.
• 3–5 years in a functional role in the food industry, with experience in managing and engaging/motivating people.
• Ability to confront non-compliance positively and effectively.
• Maintain a safe working environment through effective housekeeping and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Safety Culture and ensure a Safe Working Environment.
• Ensure products (Semi Finish and Finished Goods) meet quality standards and manufacturing instructions (compliance).
• Maintain NGMP-compliant working areas, clean and in good order.
• Manage Production through operational reviews and Standard Routines for sustainable results.
• Organize and delegate tasks, assess and develop team performance.
• Maintain dialogue with stakeholders (line shift teams, Production Manager, Maintenance, Unions).

• Lead the Safety Culture and conditions for a Safe Working Environment. Check and enforce personnel hygiene & safety procedures
• Ensure that Semi Finish Good and Finished Goods are consistently manufactured according to standards of quality and relevant manufacturing instructions (compliance).
• Ensure that the working areas are kept clean and are maintained in working order including all installations in accordance to Nestlé Good Manufacturing Practices (NGMP)
• Manage Production effectively through operational reviews and use Standard Routines to ensure sustainable results.
• Organizing & delegating assignments to the team members, assessing and evaluating the work performance of the teams
• Ensure constant dialogue with relevant stakeholders (line shift teams, Production Manager, Maintenance, Unions, functional representatives on the line).

What will make you successful

• Bachelor (S-1) Majoring Food Technology or Technical/Engineering
• 3-5 year experience in a functional role in Food industry - Having Experience in managing and engaging / motivating people
• Ability to positively confront and effectively deal with non-compliance,
• Ability to maintain a safe working environment through effective housekeeping and adherence to safety practices.
• Ability to ensure smooth operation through effective staff management and deployment Ability to set effective and challenging objectives
