Job summary

Nestlé Indonesia is seeking an Operations Shift Manager to deliver line objectives by empowering people and ensuring the shift production plan is met on time, safely, and in compliance with NGMP.

You will lead safety culture, enforce hygiene, supervise semi-finish and finished goods quality, and coordinate with production, maintenance and unions to sustain performance. The role requires a Bachelor's in Food Technology or Engineering and 2–5 years in the food industry with people leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor (S-1) majoring Food Technology or Technical/Engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience in a functional role in the food industry with experience in managing and engaging people.
• Ability to positively confront and deal with non-compliance.
• Ability to maintain a safe working environment through housekeeping and safety practices.
• Ability to ensure smooth operation through staff management and objective setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Safety Culture and conditions for a Safe Working Environment. Check and enforce personnel hygiene & safety procedures.
• Ensure that Semi Finish Goods and Finished Goods are manufactured according to standards and manufacturing instructions (compliance).
• Ensure that the working areas are clean and maintained in working order per NGMP.
• Manage Production effectively through operational reviews and Standard Routines.
• Organize & delegate assignments to the team, assess and evaluate work performance.
• Maintain dialogue with stakeholders (line shift teams, Production Manager, Maintenance, Unions, representatives).

What will make you successful
