Job summary

Nestlé Indonesia is seeking an Operations Shift Manager to lead safety culture and drive efficient line production. You will empower and engage teams to meet safety, quality, cost, delivery, and environmental targets and to ensure NGMP standards are followed across the line.

The role requires 2–5 years in a food-industry functional role, strong people management, and a proactive approach to non-compliance while maintaining safe, clean working environments and effective staff deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor (S-1) Majoring Food Technology or Technical/Engineering.
• 2-5 year experience in a functional role in Food industry - Having Experience in managing and engaging / motivating people.
• Ability to positively confront and effectively deal with non-compliance.
• Ability to maintain a safe working environment through effective housekeeping and adherence to safety practices.
• Ability to ensure smooth operation through effective staff management and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Safety Culture and conditions for a Safe Working Environment. Check and enforce personnel hygiene & safety procedures.
• Ensure that Semi Finish Good and Finished Goods are consistently manufactured according to standards of quality and relevant manufacturing instructions (compliance).
• Ensure that the working areas are kept clean and are maintained in working order including all installations in accordance to Nestlé Good Manufacturing Practices (NGMP)
• Manage Production effectively through operational reviews and use Standard Routines to ensure sustainable results.
• Organizing & delegating assignments to the team members, assessing and evaluating the work performance of the teams
• Ensure constant dialogue with relevant stakeholders (line shift teams, Production Manager, Maintenance, Unions, functional representatives on the line)
