Job summary

East Java Multipurpose Terminal (EJMT) seeks a Vessel & Berth Planner to develop, coordinate, and monitor vessel stowage and loading plans, ensuring safe and efficient turnaround.

Collaborate with operations, shipping lines, and terminal control to optimize time and resources while complying with IMDG Code for dangerous goods. A minimum of 1 year in vessel planning or terminal operations is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D4) or Bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, shipping, or marine-related field
• Minimum 1 year of vessel planning or terminal operations experience
• IMDG Code certification and handling of dangerous goods preferred
• Strong understanding of container vessel loading and discharging operations
• Ability to read, interpret, and prepare vessel stowage plans
• Experience with Out of Gauge (OOG) and Breakbulk cargo
• Proficient in English, written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed stowage, loading, and discharging plans for all vessel operations.
• Coordinate with operations, shipping lines, and terminal control to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor vessel progress and adjust plans to optimize time and resource efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and IMDG Code standards for dangerous goods.
• Analyze and evaluate operational performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of vessel activities and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Support development of best practices in vessel and yard planning systems.
