Job summary

PT Container Maritime Activities in Surabaya is seeking a Shipping Agency Operations specialist to oversee cargo activities before, during, and after port gate. You will coordinate scheduling, prepare discharge/loading reports, and ensure DG manifest accuracy with related parties.

You will also verify invoices, ensure compliance with port regulations, and maintain excellent communication in English with vessel operators and managers. Overtime may be required in a dynamic port environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' working experience in Shipping Agency Operations, preferably 2 years specialist in port formalities experience.
• Diploma Degree/ bachelor’s in Sea Transportation Management or maritime academy.
• English fluency in communication and correspondence.
• Knowledge of local and international port regulations.
• Proficient in systems and computer literacy.
• High integrity and detail orientation.
• Willing to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all activities for cargoes prior, during and after gate in the port.
• Create daily stacking period as per long term schedule and monthly daily schedule for CNC, ANL service.
• Create and send discharge reports after vessel departure and send final CBF before closing CY.
• Create and send loading list 24 hrs before arrival and final list within 6 hrs after closing time.
• Create and send DG Manifest Import and Export and arrange cargo approvals with related parties.
• Check invoices and confirm total activity for payment; crosscheck totals per brand CMA, CNC and ANL from APBS.
