PT Asco Prima Mobilindo in Indonesia is seeking a senior logistics professional to oversee vehicle logistics across Jakarta and East Java, ensuring on-time deliveries, accurate stock, and compliant documentation.
You will lead site heads, manage PDI, coordinate third-party transporters, and drive continuous improvements in SOPs while traveling between locations.
Bachelor's degree in Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or operations, with at least 3 years specifically in an automotive dealer or automotive distributor environment
Proven experience managing multi-site operations
Hands-on experience coordinating vehicle documentation processes is required
Demonstrated ability to build or significantly improve logistics operations from an unstructured or early-stage condition
Strong understanding of vehicle handling, PDI processes, and third-party transporter management
Proficiency in logistics management systems for vehicle inventory tracking and reporting
Willing to travel between operational locations
Oversee and coordinate daily vehicle logistics operations across two stockyard locations (Jakarta and East Java), ensuring delivery schedules, SLAs, and stock accuracy are maintained at both sites
Lead, develop, and evaluate warehouse head at each location — accountable for overall operational performance of both sites
Manage the PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) process end-to-end, ensuring all vehicles are inspection-cleared prior to dispatch and that PDI capacity is planned against delivery volume
Manage third-party transporter performance against established SLAs, safety standards, and cost targets — including vendor evaluation and corrective action when SLAs are breached
Ensure accuracy and integrity of vehicle inventory records across both locations, including inbound, outbound, inter-site transfers, and documentation
Oversee vehicle documentation coordination to prevent delivery delays caused by document bottlenecks
Review and control logistics costs — transporter invoices, fuel consumption, internal fleet maintenance — against approved budget, and report variances.
Respond to and investigate operational incidents (transit damage, delivery delays, vehicle condition complaints), identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions
Build, document, and continuously improve logistics SOPs across both sites
Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of vehicles held in inventory
