Job summary

PT Katup Industri Indonesia is seeking an experienced valve design engineer to develop 2D/3D valve concepts that meet customer specifications and technical requirements. You will prepare drawings, BOMs, and engineering documents while ensuring compliance with API/ASME standards.

You will collaborate with Production, Quality, and Applications Engineering to resolve technical issues, perform design analysis, and pursue product improvements using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2+ years of valve industry experience.
• Familiar with Ball, Gate, Globe, Check, SDV/BDV/MOV valves.
• Understanding of API/ASME standards and mechanical design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify 2D/3D valve designs based on customer specifications and technical requirements.
• Prepare valve drawings, BOM, and engineering documents.
• Review and verify valve designs against API/ASME standards and customer specs.
• Support Production, Quality, and Applications Engineering on technical issues.
• Perform design analysis, reverse engineering, and product improvement.
• Use SolidWorks & AutoCAD for design and drawing development.

Job description

• Review and verify valve designs based on applicable API, ASME, and customer standards.


• Support Production, Quality, and Application Engineering on technical and design‑related issues.


• Perform design analysis, reverse engineering, and product improvement.


• Use SolidWorks & ZWCAD/AutoCAD for design and drawing development.

Qualifications

• S1 Mechanical Engineering.


• Minimum 2 years of experience in the valve industry is required


• Familiar with Ball, Gate, Globe, Check, SDV/BDV/MOV valves.


• Good understanding of API/ASME standards and mechanical design.


• Proficient in SolidWorks & AutoCAD.


• Good English communication and analytical skills.
