Job summary

PMI is seeking a data-oriented professional to manage quarterly pricing approvals for electronics products, coordinating with suppliers to meet deadlines and validate reconciliations. The role focuses on data integrity, spend consolidation, and master data governance across multiple supplier networks.

The candidate will analyze supplier pricing, benchmark SKUs, and forecast spend for upcoming production demands while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Data Management, Engineering, or Finance required.
  • Experience with large datasets is required.
  • Fluent English; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the quarterly pricing approval process for electronics products and coordinate with suppliers to meet deadlines.
  • Analyze and validate supplier reconciliations and buy-down adjustments for inventory pricing.
  • Consolidate supplier spend data and produce monthly and annual spend reports.
  • Review supplier master data inputs and ensure timely updates of new part numbers/SKUs.

Your ‘day to day’
Quarterly Pricing Process
  • Lead the quarterly pricing approval process for PMI's electronics products and communicate with suppliers to meet this timeline
  • Request submission of quarterly pricing approval from each supplier, per required date.
  • Analyze and validate reconciliation payments for PMI suppliers after each quarters POs.
  • Analyze and validate any buydown adjustments to supplier T2 inventory pricing
Pricing and Liability Profile Review & Validation
  • Review in detail the pricing of each of PMI's electronics products SKUs
  • Check and validate that the pricing matches PMI's negotiated pricing with each supplier
  • Compare and benchmark the pricing for each SKU across the different suppliers
  • Review and validate all device liability profiles
Supplier Volume, Allocation, and Spend Data Consolidation & Reporting

Coach and support (as needed) contracted staff to complete below tasks:

  • Review and validate supplier PO data to calculate annual PMI spend at each supplier
  • Maintain and update all PMI supplier spend reports including T2 Spend Report, SIEVO Spend Report, and others
  • Forecast supplier spend for the next year based on future production demand
  • Maintain and update on a monthly basis all supplier volume and allocation reports
Supplier Master Data Maintenance & Review

Coach and support (as needed) contracted staff to complete below tasks:

  • Review and validate the supplier master data inputs from each supplier on a quarterly basis (unit price, lead time, MOQ, SPQ, Liability %, allocation% etc.)
  • Ensure new part numbers or new SKUs are updated into the CBD master data on a monthly basis w/ all relevant KPIs filled
  • Request suppliers to fill in missing master data fields or edit inaccurate master data in a timely manner
  • Instruct suppliers to follow the master data quality rules in a consistent & efficient manner so that first submission of quarterly master data is already of a high quality
CapEx & NRE Consolidation

Coach and support (as needed) contracted staff to complete below tasks:

  • Update, consolidate, and benchmark all CapEx and NRE data reporting for new projects (total spend & NRE rates)
Packaging Weighted Average Review & Validation

Coach and support (as needed) contracted staff to complete below tasks:

  • Review and validate packaging supplier PO data to calculate weighted average costs for box, folio, jacket
Who We’re Looking For
  • Min. College/University, Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Operations Management, Data Management, Engineering, or Finance. Master’s degree in these areas is an asset.
  • Experienced in working with & updating large datasets is required
  • Experience in working collaboratively with cross-functional &/or multi-cultural teams is required
  • Experience in the Operations field (e.g. Supply Chain, Procurement etc.) is a plus
  • Experienced in the Electronics industry is a plus
  • Passion and natural interest working with large sets of numbers and data
  • Proactive, self-starter who enjoys working in a dynamic & fast-paced working environment
  • Collaborative and comfortable to work with multi-cultural teams across different countries
  • High proficiency in MS Excel is required
  • Fluent English is required, Mandarin is a plus
  • Experience & knowledge of data platforms such as Power BI/Tableau or others is a plus
  • Track record as team player connecting well with peers and other keystakeholders outside of team.
