Job summary

PT HM Sampoerna Tbk. in Surabaya seeks a Hand-Rolled Unit Coordinator to oversee a production unit, ensuring smooth operation and adherence to standards on the shop floor.

You will coordinate leaders, maintain data integrity, manage inventory accuracy, and drive safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale KPIs while partnering with maintenance and logistics teams.

Qualifications

• Willing to work under fixed term contract (1 year).
• Diploma degree or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal.
• Basic user skills in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fresh graduates are welcomed.
• Knowledge of production systems (e.g. SAP) would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the production unit runs continuously and efficiently while following hand-rolled standards.
• Coordinate production leaders with the Lead Production Unit to motivate the team to meet KPI targets (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale).
• Ensure compliance with PMI and legal EH&S standards and sustainability guidelines.
• Ensure QMS and input data from the production floor maintain data integrity.
• Meet daily production targets and assist in data accuracy and KPI reporting.
• Coordinate with parties to manage inventory input, inventory counts, and discrepancy actions.
• Work with production leaders to create work orders for maintenance and ensure equipment is in good condition.
• Assist in communicating and implementing company standards and guidelines to employees.

YOUR 'DAY TO DAY'

• Ensure that the production unit for which he/she is responsible runs continuously and efficiently while following and implementing related hand-rolled standards for production, logistics, personnel, and general services.
• Coordinate the leaders of the production group, with the help of the Lead Production Unit, to create a work environment where everyone is motivated to achieve better results for the key performance indicators related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Morale (S-Q-D-C-M)
• Make sure compliance with all PMI and legal standards, policies, and guidelines related to Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability through close coordination with the Lead Production Unit, Supervisor Logistics, and Supervisor Personnel and General Services.
• Make sure that the Quality Management Systems (QMS) is followed and that all standards and guidelines related to the quality of incoming materials and finished goods are met as per PMI and legal requirements and coordinate with Lead Production Unit, Leaders of the Production group to ensure accurate input of all necessary operating data from the production floor in order to guarantee data integrity.
• Make sure that the production unit for which he/she is responsible meets the daily production targets cascaded by the Lead production unit, while optimizing the performance of the group. Assist the Lead Production Unit in maintaining data accuracy and preparing reports for the key performance indicators.
• Coordinate with related parties to ensure accurate input of all necessary operating data from the production floor, do inventory management systems and conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts to ensure the accuracy of inventory levels, identifying discrepancies (if any) and taking corrective actions as required.
• Work with the Leaders of the Production group to create work orders for the maintenance team, to make sure that the equipment and tools are in good working condition.
• Assist the Lead Production Unit, Supervisor Logistics, and Supervisor Personnel and General Services in sharing, communicating, and implementing company standards, policies, and guidelines to employees.
