Job summary

ParagonCorp is seeking an experienced transportation and logistics leader to oversee daily operations, fleet scheduling, and route planning. You will collaborate with warehouses, vendors, and transformation leads to ensure timely deliveries and cost efficiency.

You will analyze operational data to drive improvements, negotiate with third-party partners, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and develop the team to sustain high performance across outbound distribution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Transportation Management, or related field.
• 10+ years in transportation/logistics management with team and vendor management.
• Strong ability to analyze operational data: costs, route efficiency, delivery performance.
• Strong negotiation and vendor/partner relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and delivery safety standards.
• Strong field leadership with ability to handle escalations quickly.
• Strong cross-functional communication with warehouse/fulfillment and Transformation Management Lead.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily transportation operations: fleet scheduling, delivery routes, and coordination with partners/vendors.
• Analyze transportation costs: fleet utilization, efficiency, and cost optimization.
• Monitor transportation performance: on-time delivery, cost per shipment, fleet utilization; take corrective actions.
• Manage relationships with third-party transportation vendors: performance evaluation and contract negotiation.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety regulations, and service quality standards.
• Coordinate with warehouse/fulfillment to ensure smooth outbound flow to distribution points.
• Provide transportation data and insights to support distribution network transformation initiatives.
• Lead and develop the team to ensure readiness and smooth daily operations.

• Manage and analyze transportation costs, including evaluating fleet utilization, efficiency, and cost optimization.
• Monitor and analyze transportation performance, including on-time delivery, cost per shipment, and fleet utilization, and take corrective actions when deviations occur.
• Manage relationships with third-party transportation vendors, including performance evaluation, contract negotiation, and resolution of operational escalations.
• Ensure compliance with transportation SOPs, safety regulations, and delivery service quality standards.
• Coordinate with warehouse/fulfillment functions to ensure a smooth outbound flow through to distribution points.
• Provide transportation operational data and insights to support distribution network transformation initiatives led by the Transformation Management Lead.
• Manage and develop the team under the function to ensure consistent readiness and smooth daily operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Transportation Management, or other relevant fields.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in transportation/logistics management, with experience managing teams and vendors.
• Strong ability to analyze operational data, including costs, route efficiency, and delivery performance, to support daily decision-making.
• Strong negotiation and vendor/transportation partner relationship management skills.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and delivery safety standards.
• Strong field leadership skills, with the ability to handle operational escalations quickly and systematically.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills, particularly with warehouse/fulfillment teams and the Transformation Management Lead.
