Job summary

PT Tri Telcon Utama is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to support the Sales team in bidding, prepare technical and commercial proposals, and coordinate between Sales, Engineering, and Project Management. The role requires hands-on experience with telecom/ICT systems and site surveys in East Jakarta.

Based in Klender, East Jakarta, the candidate will manage vendors, interpret RFQ into technical designs, and ensure timely delivery of documentation and drawings. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma degree in Telecom/ICT/Instrumentation/Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Telecom/ICT Engineer, Sales, or Pre-sales/Proposal/Cost Estimator roles.
• Ability to communicate in English (written and verbal).
• Ready to work overtime if necessary.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Familiar with incoterms.
• Able to read Telecom/ICT/Instrumentation/Electrical engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Report to Pre-Sales Coordinator.
• Manage respective vendors or subcontractors.
• Support preparation of all necessary bidding documentation.
• Support Sales team in tender negotiation and contract terms.
• Conduct research into the industry – including competitor research.
• Interpret RFQ from customer into technical design and engineering.
• Liaise between Sales, Engineering, and Project Management Department.
• Perform site surveys to develop basis design and installation plan (if any).
• Support Sales team to establish, develop, and maintain relationship with customers.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposal on time based on deadline from customer.
