Job summary

Huawei is seeking an IP Pre-Sales Engineer in Jakarta Selatan to drive the enterprise IP Datacom business across major Indonesian accounts. You will design scalable networking solutions, support strategic bidding, and translate complex customer requirements into practical architectures for real-world deployments.

Collaborating with account managers, product teams, and delivery engineers, you will work on routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, MPLS and SRv6, balancing technical competitiveness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related ICT disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in ICT Product Sales or Pre Sales Engineering within enterprise networking environments.
• Hands-on design of enterprise or carrier-grade network architectures for Financial Services customers.
• Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, SRv6, and related networking technologies.

Responsibilities

• Promote Huawei's IP Datacom portfolio including routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, and enterprise networking solutions.
• Design scenario-based enterprise network architectures tailored to banking, telecom, ISP, and mission-critical customer environments.
• Support account managers during technical presentations, workshops, requirement analysis, and customer solution discussions.
• Lead technical proposal preparation, BoQ creation, and RFI/RFP response activities.
• Participate in tender presentations and solution defense against competitor offerings.
• Collaborate with delivery, engineering, and product teams to ensure technical feasibility and project success.
• Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer requirements to improve solution competitiveness.
• Support Proof of Concept (POC), technical demonstrations, and enterprise networking workshops.
• Provide technical enablement and product training to internal teams and business partners.
• Contribute to long‑term solution strategy and regional product competitiveness initiatives.
