Job summary

Bali Padel Academy in Bali is seeking an Engineering Technician to perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance for the padel facility and related systems. You will inspect, repair, and service assets to ensure continuous operation of courts and support spaces.

The role requires a vocational background (SMK) and at least two years in MEP maintenance, with strong problem-solving, inventory management, and effective vendor communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections and repairs to keep all assets and facilities operational.
• Inspect and maintain padel courts, restrooms, sound systems, and other facilities.
• Perform weekly inspections and repairs on medium-sized assets like pumps and heaters.
• Carry out monthly inspections and repairs on major equipment such as electrical panels and AC systems.
• Prepare maintenance and operational tasks before competitions or events.
• Submit written and verbal maintenance reports to the supervisor and Operations Manager.
• Report maintenance issues, completed repairs, equipment conditions and risks needing attention.
• Maintain good communication with vendors and service providers.
• Coordinate with vendors for external technical support when required.

Job description

To perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance for the sports centre, particularly the padel courts and supporting facilities. This includes conducting regular inspections, carrying out necessary repairs, and identifying potential equipment or facility failures before they occur.

Key responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive daily inspections and perform repairs to ensure the proper condition and functionality of all assets and facilities supporting the daily operation of the padel courts

Inspect and maintain padel courts, restrooms, sound systems, and other operational facilities and equipment

Conduct thorough weekly inspections and perform necessary repairs on medium-sized operational assets and supporting facilities, including water pumps, water heaters, and other related equipment

Conduct comprehensive monthly inspections and perform necessary repairs on major operational assets, including electrical panels, generators, air-conditioning systems, and other major equipment

Conduct maintenance and operational preparations prior to competitions or major events

Prepare and submit written and verbal maintenance reports to the direct supervisor and Operations Manager

Report maintenance issues, completed repairs, equipment conditions, and potential risks requiring further attention

Maintain good working relationships and effective communication with vendors and service providers

Coordinate with vendors when external technical support or repairs are required

About you

Minimum Vocational High School (SMK) or equivalent, preferably in a relevant technical field such as Mechanical, Electrical, or related disciplines

Minimum 2 years of experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) maintenance, preferably in villas, high-rise buildings, sports centres, or similar facilities

Strong and practical problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond to maintenance issues quickly and effectively

Familiar with asset inventory and maintenance records

Target-oriented, organized, and able to complete maintenance tasks within the required timeframe
