Job summary

PT SNF Polymers Indonesia is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer (Mandarin Speaker) to provide technical service and application support to mining customers. You will act as the primary technical contact for assigned accounts and collaborate with Key Account Managers as needed.

This role requires a metallurgical or chemical engineering background, at least three years in mining or related fields, and fluency in Bahasa Indonesia, English, and Mandarin (HSK4+ preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in mining, mineral processing, metallurgy, chemical industry, or technical sales.
• Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English; Mandarin required (HSK4+ preferred).
• Strong metallurgical/chemical process knowledge.
• Good presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Willing to be placed in Karawaci, Tangerang.

Technical Sales Engineer – Mining [Mandarin Speaker]

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Provide technical service and application support to customers, either in collaboration with Key Account Managers for key accounts or independently for assigned customers.

Act as the primary technical point of contact for assigned customers and provide timely support to address technical inquiries and application-related issues.

Maintain regular and proactive communication with customers, effectively addressing technical concerns to support customer satisfaction and retention.

Support customer trials, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities to ensure optimal product application and performance.

Prepare and submit service visit reports and technical reports in a timely manner for all customer service activities.

Escalate complex technical issues to the Technical Manager or Lab Manager and support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with approved technical procedures, laboratory guidelines, and company standards during testing, trials, and field activities.

Provide technical feedback, field observations, and performance data to support continuous product improvement and development initiatives.

QUALIFICATION

Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Metallurgical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.

Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in mining, mineral processing, metallurgy, chemical industry, or technical sales environment.

Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both spoken and written.

Ability to communicate in Mandarin is mandatory (HSK Level 4 or above is preferred), with fluency considered a strong advantage.

Strong understanding of metallurgical and/or chemical processes.

Good presentation, negotiation, and technical problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Willing to be placed at Karawaci - Tangerang.
