We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support mechanical engineering, maintenance, and equipment-related activities at our industrial operation in Morowali. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical engineering background and is able to communicate effectively in Mandarin and English to coordinate with both local and Chinese-speaking teams.

Key responsibilities

Support mechanical engineering and equipment-related activities at the site.

Monitor, inspect, and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery.

Analyze mechanical problems and provide appropriate technical solutions.

Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, production, and other related departments.

Support equipment installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance activities.

Prepare technical reports and documentation related to mechanical equipment.

Communicate and coordinate with Chinese-speaking engineers and colleagues regarding technical matters.

Ensure mechanical equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently.

Follow company safety procedures and engineering standards.

About you

Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering / Teknik Mesin.

Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.

Previous experience in mechanical engineering, maintenance, machinery, or industrial environments is preferred.

Good understanding of mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Able to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Willing to be based in Morowali, Central Sulawesi.

Willing to work on a site/industrial area and follow the company's working schedule.

Experience in manufacturing, mining, smelter, chemical, or other heavy industrial environments is preferred.
