Job summary

PT Lawencon Internasional seeks a System Engineer/Administrator to install, configure, test, and maintain enterprise infrastructure for 24/7 operations. You will monitor system health, oversee new hardware/software deployments, and write automation scripts to minimize manual work.

The role requires hands-on experience with Linux, Windows, and mainframe OS, plus strong knowledge of networks, security, backups, and databases.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have at least a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering/CS/IT or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Windows, and mainframe operating systems.
• Experience in system administration and engineering roles.
• Knowledge of network security concepts and performance tuning.

Job description

• Responsible for installing, configuring, testing, maintaining all system infrastructure availability, performance, and security
• Monitor existing systems to ensure structural integrity
• Oversee the development and installation of new hardware and software
• Install and configure operating systems and other software and routinely test installed software for glitch detection and other issues
• Provide technical direction to IT support staff
• Ensure constant availability of technical resources
• Design and implement security systems and redundant backups to maintain data safety
• Write custom scripts to reduce the need for human intervention

• Candidates must possess at least Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication),Engineering (Others), Computer Science/Information Technology, Science & Technology or equivalent
• At least 1,5 Year(s) of working experience as a System Engineer/System Administrator
• Willing to work in shifting 24/7
• Hands on experience of OS (Linux, Windows, and Mainframe)
• Have knowledge about network and security concepts and tuning techniques and system performance configuration
• Familiar with backup and restore concept
• Have a knowledge of database structure design
• Have a knowledge atlassian product
• Have a knowledge at CICD Tools
• Have experience using Docker, Jenkins and or Kubernetes
• Have a knowledge on microservices technology
• Familiar with monitoring and analytical tools (Grafana, Kibana, Logtash, Zabbix) can use and set up from zero
• Experience and understanding minimal one programming language (Vb, Java, PHP, Golang, C#, Python)
