Job summary

Hyundai Autoever Indonesia is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to manage Windows and Linux servers, perform maintenance, and ensure DR readiness across production environments. The role includes patching, backups, and monitoring of multiple platforms and middleware stacks.

You will handle virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), directory services, storage, and various databases while maintaining security hardening and incident response processes. Strong scripting skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience administering Windows servers (2016/2019/2022) and Linux servers (RHEL/ Rocky/ Ubuntu/ CentOS).
• Hands-on setup and management of virtualization environments (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V).
• Experience with Domain, DNS, AD, WSUS, Group Policy, and storage management (SAN/NAS).
• Familiar with web/was servers (IIS, Apache, Nginx, WebSphere, Tomcat, JBOSS, WebLogic).
• Knowledge of enterprise deployment, clustering, load balancing, failover, and DR.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana) and databases (Oracle, MS-SQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB).
• Scripting skills in PowerShell and Bash; security hardening and patch management.

Responsibilities

• Perform system maintenance, maintain operating environment and respond quickly to problems.
• Install patches, procedures, and security tools as needed.
• Schedule backups and restores and ensure smooth operations.
• Administer day-to-day operations across test, development, and production environments.
• Generate daily and monthly reports on server, backup, DB, web/was performance and issues.
• Build and manage high-end servers (Dell, HP, IDM) and troubleshoot as needed.
• Manage infra virtualization such as VMWare and Hyper-V.
• Operate AD, WSUS, DNS, DHCP; maintain IT records and inventory.
• Manage infra servers, storage, DB, and web/was services: create, change, delete.

Job description

- Managing windows and linux server, perform system maintenance and backup/restore operation

- Managing middleware system WEB/WAS infra performance

- Operation DB for daily operation

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform system maintenance, maintaining operating environment, responding effectively and speedily to any problem

- Responsible for installing necessary patch, procedures and security tools on the fly

- Responsible to perform scheduling backup and restore in well operation

- Managing day to day operation and administration of different environment : test, development, production

- Perform daily, monthly report server, backup, db, web/was performance, issue, task

- Building high end servers (eq. DELL, HP, IDM) managing, troubleshooting

- Manage infra virtualization such as VMWare, Hyper-V etc

- Manage and operates various system such as AD, WSUS, DNS, DHCP

- Maintain IT record and tracking hardware and software inventory for areas of responsibility

- Managing infra server, storage, db, web/was service management : create, change, delete

Skills and Qualifications Required:

- Strong experience administering high volume of windows server (2016, 2019, 2022) and linux server (Red - Hat, Rocky Linus, Ubuntu, CentOS)

- Experience and hands on setup and manage virtualization such as VMWare vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V and others highly preffered

- Experience and hands on Domain, DNS, AD, WSUS, Group Policy, Storage Management (SAN/NAS), RAID, Backup and Restore, Disaster Recovery

- Experience with hands on and manage web/was such as WebTob, IIS, Apache, Nginx, JEUS, WebSphere, Tomcat, JBOSS, Web Logic highly preferred

- Should have hands on enterprise deployment, system management, clustering, load balancing, failover, storage operation, directory services and authentication

- Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana

- Experience and hands on with DB such as Oracle, MS-SQL, Tibero, Postgre, Maria DB etc

- Experience and familiar scripting with PowerShell, Bash

- Experience with securing infra with windows / linux security hardening, patch management, vulnerability inspection and remediation
