Job summary

PT ITSEC Asia Tbk is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to own, configure, and maintain production systems, ensuring platform stability, performance and security. You will develop and maintain automation scripts and configuration workflows for provisioning, deployment, and ongoing operations.

The candidate should have 7+ years managing production environments, deep OS knowledge, solid scripting, and hands-on familiarity with Proxmox, Kubernetes or Docker, plus monitoring tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Eng, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years managing production-grade systems and infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of OS internals (Linux/Unix or Windows Server).
• Scripting in Python/Bash/PowerShell with config management tools.
• Experience with Proxmox, Kubernetes or Docker.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to diagnose complex issues.
• Ability to independently manage core infrastructure systems.

Responsibilities

• Own, configure, and maintain operating system environments (Linux/Ubuntu/CentOS or Windows Server) to ensure platform stability, performance, and security.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and configuration management workflows for system provisioning, configuration, and deployments.
• Perform deep-level technical troubleshooting to identify and permanently resolve root causes of complex system and infrastructure failures.
• Establish and enforce system hardening standards, access controls, and automated patching procedures.
• Evaluate, test, and integrate modern infrastructure technologies and tools to improve system performance and reliability.
• Optimize system monitoring, logging, and metrics collection to ensure system health and proactive incident management.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and platform teams to support infrastructure requirements without compromising system stability.
• Maintain clear technical documentation for infrastructure configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum 7 years of experience managing production-grade systems and infrastructure environments.
• Operating Systems: Deep knowledge of OS internals, including memory allocation, storage/filesystems, process management, and networking stacks (Linux/Unix or Windows Server).
• Automation & Scripting: Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell, alongside experience with configuration management tools (such as Ansible, SaltStack, or Puppet).
• Virtualization & Containers: Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., Proxmox) and container orchestration tools (such as Kubernetes or Docker).
• System Monitoring: Experience configuring and maintaining monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or APM tools).
• Security & Networking: Practical knowledge of network protocols, access control management, system hardening guidelines, and patch management.
• Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
• Ability to independently manage core infrastructure systems and make sound operational decisions.
• Willingness to objectively evaluate and adopt modern infrastructure technologies based on operational needs.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills to document system architectures and collaborate effectively across teams.
