PT NOVA MODULAR INDONESIA seeks an experienced General Manager to lead our Surabaya operations in East Java. This full-time role oversees strategy, financial performance, and a high-performing team to drive revenue and market expansion.

You will manage budgeting, client relations, and regulatory compliance while shaping the future of our modular construction solutions. Indonesian and English fluency are essential.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of progressive management experience, with at least 3–5 years in a general management or business unit leadership role.
• Proven track record of leading and scaling business operations to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, financial analysis, and P&L responsibility.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
• Strategic thinking and business development capabilities, including market analysis and commercial negotiation.
• Knowledge of or experience in construction, manufacturing, modular building, or related sectors is desirable.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients, employees, and external stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Management, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• Fluency in Indonesian and English; additional languages are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve revenue targets and growth for the Surabaya operation.
• Oversee day-to-day operational activities for efficient execution of all functions.
• Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing team with a culture of accountability and improvement.
• Monitor and optimise financial performance, including budgeting and profitability analysis.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and quality standards in modular construction.
• Identify market opportunities and threats; develop strategies to sustain market position.
• Report to senior management on performance, challenges, and initiatives.
• Drive innovation and operational improvements to enhance product quality and service delivery.
