Job summary

PT NOVA MODULAR INDONESIA is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our Bali operations on a full-time basis. You will oversee all aspects of the regional business unit, reporting to senior leadership and driving strategic objectives and operational excellence.

The role focuses on team leadership, P&L oversight, business development, and market positioning, with responsibilities spanning strategy, budgeting, client relations, and performance reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, management, engineering, or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of management experience in manufacturing, construction, modular building, or related industries.
• Proven track record of managing business units and achieving financial targets.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and people management skills.
• Fluency in Indonesian and English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies aligned with company objectives and regional market opportunities.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, including project management, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Lead, recruit, and develop a high-performing team with a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Monitor financial performance, manage P&L statements, and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Drive sales growth and expand the customer base through business development initiatives.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and business partners.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Report on KPIs and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Represent the company professionally in the market and at industry events.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 8-10 years of management experience, preferably in manufacturing, construction, modular building, or related industries
• Proven track record of successfully managing business units and achieving financial targets
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience building and motivating diverse teams
• Excellent financial acumen and experience managing P&L statements and budgets
• Strategic thinking and ability to develop business growth initiatives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in Indonesian and English (spoken and written)
• Experience in the modular construction or prefabricated building sector is highly desirable
• Knowledge of the Indonesian business environment and market dynamics is advantageous
