Haskoning's Supply Chain & Logistics advisory group in Jakarta is offering an internship for Master’s students in SCM, Logistics, OR, or related fields. You will analyze networks, planning processes, and optimization using real client data to improve performance.

You will work on topics like changing goods flows, distribution centers, capacity constraints, scenario analysis, and data quality. Expect mentorship, hands-on projects, and exposure to an international consulting practice.

At Haskoning’s Supply Chain & Logistics advisory group, we welcome curious interns who want to learn and contribute to real supply chain challenges. You will explore topics such as network design, data analysis, scenario planning, and optimization to help create smarter, more flexible, and sustainable supply chains.

What will you do

As an intern, you will get the chance to work on one of our customized solutions using up-to-date customer data to analyse and improve supply chain networks or planning processes. You will explore how changes in the customer’s supply chain impact overall performance and help identify practical improvements.

Your Internship Topic May Cover

• Changing goods flows and customer demand
• New distribution centres, suppliers, or markets
• Capacity constraints in transport and storage
• Scenario analysis and optimization
• Data availability and quality
• Balancing cost, service level, and sustainability

We will define the internship topic together, based on your interests, skills, and our project needs. Off course, you are also encouraged to bring your own ideas or research questions that align with your ambitions and our consulting practice.

Where you will work

You will be based at our South Jakarta office, where you will work alongside the Supply Chain & Logistics team and collaborate with colleagues across our global network.

What you bring

• Master’s student in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Data Analytics, or related fields.
• Must still be an active university student and able to provide an official internship letter from the university.
• Available for an internship period of 4–8 months.
• Must have a valid stay permit in Indonesia.
• Strong interest in supply chain, logistics, data analysis, optimization, and consulting.
• Good analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable working with data
• Knowledge of Excel, Power BI, Python, simulation or optimization tools is a plus.
